About Me

I have over fifteen years of experience working at many hospitals in New York City, providing psychotherapy and social services to individuals and families.

​I transitioned to private practice after specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is a treatment approach that helps to understand the inter-relation between thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

​I uphold the core values of integrity, empathy and competence, placing the utmost importance to ensure every individual feels respected and trusted.

Individualized Treatment Plans

Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. In therapy sessions, we will work collaboratively to set treatment goals, gain insight, and understand your core beliefs, emotions and behaviors. I help people suffering from anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions and chronic illness.

Main Treatment Approach

My main treatment approach is CBT-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy is instrumental in treating anxiety and depression, with a focus on identifying immediate thoughts, evaluating these thoughts, and reframing them. Behavioral exposure exercises and thought records are an integral component of CBT.

Affordable and Accessible therapy

I believe therapy should be easily accessible, and affordable. So I offer in-person counseling, or telehealth services via video counseling.

I have worked with corporations to address employee mental health, and provide psycho-educational presentations, workshops and small group seminars on stress in the workplace, depression, anxiety and burn-out.
